Ag Engineering Conference Highlights

Nearly 30 professional engineers practicing in Iowa attended a conference April 10 sponsored by the Iowa Beef Center and Iowa State University. The conference, held at the Starlite Best Western in Ames, was organized to give ag/biosystems engineers insight into the state laws governing Iowa open feedlots and to make them aware of the special requirements open feedlots must accomplish.
