Eighty beef producers and allied industry professionals from nine states and Canada participated in this tour featuring dairy steer production and unique characteristics of dairy steers. See the one-page "Characteristics of Dairy Steers" for information shared with tour participants. This year’s dairy steer tour was tied to the Central Plains Dairy Expo with assistance from Extension specialists in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and North and South Dakota.
