Cyclone Cattle Feeder Days, Aug. 24-27
"With the high cost of cattle placements, it is important to use data to drive decisions regarding the feedlot enterprise," says Iowa Beef Center director Aimee Wertz-Lutz. "We are excited to bring Cyclone Cattle Feeder Days to multiple regions of Iowa and meet cattle feeders where they are. This program is intended to look at a strategic approach to integrating technology and electronic data capture into feedlot production."
Set for Aug. 24-27 in Carroll County, Jones County, Mitchell County and Sioux County respectively, all sites will follow the same agenda and schedule. The program runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and includes a noon meal and opportunity to interact with speakers and sponsors over the noon hour. Registration is $20 per person and is due by Aug. 17 through the hosting county extension office. The agenda, dates, locations and registration instructions for each site follow.
